Mountain running footwear developed for resistance in Ultra Trails and Ultra Marathons. Akira is particularly comfortable and flexible, designed for prolonged trail use. It adopts an enveloping and comfortable upper shape in 3 layers: comfort, thanks to the seamless construction; flexibility of the structure thanks to the innovative MicroLite Skeleton™ application that dynamically follows the movement of the foot during running; Guaranteed protection with the Flex-Guard™ microfiber structure that keeps the shoe light and provides a barrier against abrasion caused by rubbing. Great stability thanks to the TrailCage System™ technology placed between the two upper and surrounding layers, integrating with the lacing system. The sole has been developed by the La Sportiva R&D department and has the new FriXion XT grip band with Impact Brake System; exclusive design with Trail Rocker technology that favors natural “external heel-internal toe” support of the foot during the race. Cushioning, protection and comfort, 3 parts of a perfect geometry: origami, which inspires the design of the footwear. With Akira running is an art.
