The Atomic Backland 86 SL is an exceptionally lightweight and highly versatile ski, designed for alpine touring. This wider ski is constructed with super lightweight SL fiberglass, an ultra-light wood core, and a carbon structure that reduces the overall weight for efficient ascents. The combination of these materials results in a super lightweight ski, yet extremely smooth and stable on the descent. Its All Mountain Rocker profile and HRZN technology in the tip allow the ski to float in fresh snow and navigate irregularities and compacted snow with less tip deflection. Additionally, the notch in the tips facilitates quick transitions of Atomic's pre-fitted skins.
