S/LAB Ultra is the fruit of a unique collaborative vision between award-winning ultra-distance runner François D’Haene and Salomon. This shoe has redefined the limits of ultra-high performance products. In addition, it is the first to maintain its performance after 10 or 15 hours of competition. Its combination of plate and foam create new paths for ultra-distance, provoking sensations that we had not explored before.

• Cushioning
• A unique ultralight dual-layer Energy Foam configuration in the midsole delivers optimal, stable cushioning over ultra-distance and in changing, challenging trail conditions.
• Ground barrier
• Its Profeel plate located in the midsole acts as an efficient barrier between your foot and the ground, to offer protection over long distances and on difficult mountainous terrain.
• Breathable
• Its comfortable, breathable upper is made with durable Matryx® fibers enhanced with Kevlar® that are lightweight, dry quickly and resist abrasions.
