The Y-1 HD Three-Layer GORE-TEX® PRO Shell pant is built for a demanding alpine environment. We have specifically chosen this hard wearing, rugged 150 denier GORE-TEX® fabric that will resist extreme conditions for skiing, snowboarding and ski touring. The Gore technology makes it durably waterproof, completely windproof, and extremely breathable.
It is a shell pant, made for layering. Use it with, for example, our U-1 Seamless First Layer set and/or our L-1 Primaloft® Insulation Pant, depending on outside temperature and how demanding your activity is. With its two large side ventilation zippers you can also easily regulate the inside temperature.
The Y-1 features an innovative 3D adjustable waistband construction to optimize fit and comfort. The waistband back has a thin flexible barrier in Dupont Sorona® insulation for extra warmth and comfort at your lower back. The Sorona® is a breathable, lightweight, partially plant-based insulation perfect for active garments.
Please note that the Cordura® re-enforcements at the bottom of the pants are colour matched to the fabric. Not that this makes any functional difference, but we think it looks very good.
