Warm even when wet: The Catinaccio jacket is destined to become a classic. It's a warm solution for harsh conditions that takes advantage of the excellent comfort and wet-warming performance of natural TirolWool® combined with Responsive synthetic insulation.
Natural wool and a smart, innovative fabric: The Catinaccio features 80-gram TirolWool® Responsive insulation throughout the garment within ripstop nylon fabric treated with a durable waterproof finish (DWR). This way you get a warm, waterproof jacket that doesn't weigh much. TirolWool® Responsive uses wool obtained from Tyrolean sheep, which live in high mountain conditions, and have a high lanolin content (the natural waterproof wax that sheep have to keep water away from their skin). And our patented Responsive technology incorporates thermoreactive minerals that absorb infrared energy from the body and return it over time. to ensure higher performance and faster recovery. Catinaccio is the Ladin-inspired name for the mountain range commonly known as Rosengarten. The front zipper with windproof flap keeps out cold air, and the soft, comfortable collar closes to the chin for added protection. The pockets, one internal and two external zippered pockets, are right where you need them. All the fabrics this jacket is made of are bluesign® approved for having minimal impact on people and the environment.
