G5 Evo is the ultra-technical water-repellent boot for high altitude mountaineering, ice climbing and use in cold environments. Quick and easy to put on thanks to the lower drawstring with the BOA® Fit System placed outside the gaiter that allows for secure closure with gloves and does not require opening the zipper. The Power Strap velcro placed on the upper part of the upper also allows a secure and precise closure and, in combination with the adjustable collar, prevents the entry of snow or ice. Like all products in the La Sportiva high mountain range, the G5 Evo is equipped with quick-drying materials that promote prolonged use. Protection against atmospheric agents is maximum thanks to the water-repellent gaiter with heat-sealed zipper and internal thermo-adhesion with innovative UltraSonic welding technology that allows materials to be joined without the need for seams, which increases water repellency. Volumes and weight are reduced to a maximum: the TechLite™ PU material upper is super light and anti-abrasion, while the midsole is made of 3 mm insulating carbon with honey-comb technology. The thermal quality is accentuated thanks to the GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ THERMIUM™ insulation technology membrane that wraps the upper frontally, including the midsole: it increases thermal insulation in the toe, which favors the use of the boot even in static situations. G5 EVO combines the thermal insulation characteristics of a double liner boot with the lightness and volume reduction of a single liner boot. Gimme Five, G5.
