- The rope with optimized performance: The DIABLO 9.8MM rope is an improved and thinner version of its big sister the DIABLO 10.2. With its new very thin sheath, it is even more efficient when taking in slack and carabiners, and better than the more traditional smaller diameter ropes, with a lower weight. Its resistance to abrasion has also been improved. Its flexibility and compactness will delight the most demanding climbers. This rope is still intended for experienced climbers and vigilant belayers.
